Something about Wedges

there is somethng about wedges that just drives me nuts!!! The way it make a womans calf and legs look is amazing. Any of you have the same love for them? How many pairs do you have? Share your collection with us and post it.

yeah, wedges are good. i really don't know why i like them so much. my exgf used to say how they can come off as trashy if you don't have really nice ones. but still, i don't know what it is about them.

I'm not sure about them looking trashy...I think there are some really interesting pairs from the wedge shape and designs. they are pretty diverse

I find wedges to be hit or miss. Certainly, many of them have a built in platform & stable base that makes walking easier, which is a plus. There is nothing sexy about a woman on heels who can't walk straight, KWIM?

But, I can't stand the hemp/espadrille variations. Just too 1970's clunky for my taste.

Having said that, over the last 2 years I have added at least 3 wedges & 3 demi wedges (cross between a heel & platform wedge) to my closet & I love them. There is a fine line between a sexy and fabulous wedge & wearing 'Frankenstein shoes'.

Also, you have to 'own' the look and not let it overwhelm you - it makes a huge difference in how it looks on a woman who is comfortable with the style vs someone who is self-conscious.

Wedges are tricky and definitely do not work for everyone. I personally shy away from wedges because I don't feel like they compliment my height at 5'2

I like wedges a lot. I have a pair of Coach wedges that I love and I wear them as much as I can!
