I love the idea behind Tom's shoes. I recently bought a pair of shoes called The Soulful Me Peace Sandal...similar concept as Tom shoes, except profits go towards women's charities, as opposed to donating a pair of shoes. Personally, I think the Soulful Me sandals are a bit more fashionable...soft leather, nice stiching, this really cute sort of aged bronze peace sign. Plus there's a big inset peace sign underneath the shoe. What can I say, I'm stuck in the 60s! But, my teenaged daughter steals them all the time, so I must be on to something. Haha.
