Vinyl no-no!

There are several things that bother me about these Givenchy gladiator-style sandals, the least of which is the gladiator style (which I can't really stomach). Worse, though, is the vinyl plaque shielding your foot and GUARANTEED to make you sweaty and uncomfortable. Why???
And the worst thing of all: these are just basic sandals made of relatively cheap materials (grosgrain and vinyl): what can possibly justify the price tag of almost $400? Well, apart from the Givenchy name, of course. Still, an expensive sandal guaranteed to make you itchy, sweaty, and uncomfortable during those hot summer days it's designed for? Run for your life!

Oh my. Those are awful. I never thought the gladiator-style sandal was too attractive, but with that lovely piece of soon-to-be sweaty plastic up front....whoa.

Lmao this shoe cant be serious..i dun understand a lil bit how these shoes could even come out and be considered buy worthy..what is that cheetah like plastic print thing attached to it..nah. cant wear these outside the house its not allowed

Me too. Put another breathable material in place of the plastic and I'm sold. I like the design but I stopped wearing plastic in the 80's with my watermelon colored ankle strapped jellies...lol

I'd like these flat, stiletto, or in a wedge..given the right materials.

ok is it just me or does the plastic part kind of remind you of a shoe horn?
i defiantly would not be caught wearing these or would drop that kind of cash of them, i know many other shoes or other things that would warrant that money more than these!
