Uggs and Slippers...really?

I am all about the warm and fuzzys but really? Uggs to the supermarket and slippers to the coffee shop..what's next big rollers and creme lip bleach at the movies?

I'm with you, Carolina. I'm all for sitting around in pyjama pants when I'm home, but if I'm going to leave the house, I'm presentable. I'm not in college anymore (not that that is an excuse).

It depends on, like most of the time, how your daily life looks like, I think. I have many occasions to wear Uggs, Slippers, Sneakers, .. but very few to wear my prefered 10cm high-heels. There will be always ugly shoes around us, but I do not thing that a slipper, .. in general is ugly because it's a slipper.

What is wrong with Uggs at the supermarket? Last I checked Uggs were made to wear outdoors!!!! And in casual environments!!!!

And I remember while in college, it was the it thing to wear with a mini skirt. (not my style but all the girls in SoCal were doing it and its not even cold there)

However, I do agree with the slipper thing.

I do think Uggs are not appropriate attire for work. But if you're wearing boots that cost well over a hundred dollars just in the house, then I would consider that a waste of money cause you could have bought the Costco brand for like $14.99.

I wear my fake Uggs to the movies and the supermarket!! Go ahead and judge me if you want, but when you're needing your bunions removed from wearing tight uncomfortable heels all the time, I'll still have cute comfy feet with no scars or large bone sticking out of the side!!!!

Wear what you want behind closed doors, but when you leave the house, take 2 minutes and ditch the slippers. How hard is it to put on a decent pair of flip flops.
