Talking Fashion Designer going to Shoe School - Suggestions?

Hello Everyone,

I'm currently in a transition into the Shoe Design Industry. I have worked as a womenswear designer in the NYC fashion industry for 8 years. I am making a career change to persue Shoe Design which is my real passion. I'm looking into studying overseas in Europe (either Italy or London) and was wondering if anyone would recommend any masters or certificate programs. So far Im looking into CERCAL (sergio rossi's school) & Polimoda (in florence). Any other recommendations or advice would be greatly appreciated.

THANKS !!!

I just keep thinking I should apprentice with a local cobbler to get a feel for things....not much help for you, though. Are there any leads through Footwear News?
