Mizuno’s woods for 2011 have the same name as their sensational new irons, and the Muzino JPX 800 Driver is a product with a massive future.
Mizuno JPX 800 features the Ultimate Dynamic Stability innovation which increases average driving distance by increasing the ball speeds of those shots struck from above and below the traditional “sweetspot”. Mizuno also increased the vertical MOI of the driver, as well as the traditional extension from heel to toe, meaning the forgiveness on off-centre strikes is enhanced.
Both Ian and Chris also said the Mizuno JPX 800 for sale inspired confidence at address and delivered a high ball flight as well as a powerful feel while Dave R gave it full marks across the board for looks, feel and forgiveness because he felt it was as good as anything else on test.
I am so thrilled with my new JPX 800 driver. Was given a Ping K15 Driver last year for a big birthday and struggled with it--fading then hooking the ball. Even tried a new shaft. This has been designed to make the vertical MOI higher to counter off centre strikes, and the forgiveness and the dispersion scores clearly indicate that this is a forgiving club.
Honestly, I hit a series of drivers (all with custom shafts) at the range with a launch monitor. In my opinion, the JPX was the longest, straightest club I hit, beating the Ping, the TaylorMade R11 TP Driver and my 2008 TM Burner.
