The 913 family of drivers has enjoyed an impressive initial foray onto the worldwide Tours, with both Rory McIlroy and Bernd Wiesberger recording victories. They are new cheap 913 D2 driver and 913D3 driver.
The 913 drivers feature Titleist's SureFit Tour hosel, with the 913D2 featuring a larger 460cc head compared to the 445cc head of the more workable Titleist 913 D3 driver. Utilising state-of-the-art club fitting tools, Titleist Fitting Technicians will guide the player through a precise and comprehensive fitting process that fine tunes the 913 driver to their game.
Titleist says the 460cc 913 D2 and 445cc cheap 913 D3 driver, as used by World No.1 Rory McIlroy, represent the most technologically advanced drivers the company has ever produced and this custom fitting experience will ensure that performance is maximised for each player.
The key difference, say Titleist, is their newly developed face insert; invisible technology to the naked eye but a development that has a big impact on performance. Thicker in the middle and progressively thinner towards the edges, the insert is designed to give improved ball speeds on off-centre strikes. Hit the ball out the middle of the clubface and you won’t notice much difference – but on mis-hits Titleist insist the 913 models deliver an 11 per cent increase in the maximum ball speed area on the face.
Titleist claims the Titleist 913 D2 driver offers a slight draw bias and is more forgiving, while the 913D3 plays with a more neutral set-up for those that prefer workability.
