I am Maddy and I reside in the best state in the Union: Colorado. I am planning on turning myself into a corporate attorney with the help of a very generous lending company and my future first-born. With this attorneyship, I intend on making enough money to be the next Dr. Ferragamo, although I hope to be slightly more useful than the reigning Doctor (much love to Condi). Additionally, I would love to do work to increase educational opportunities in Latin American countries.
Because I take advantage of all that Colorado has to offer, I have discovered my true-shoe-love: Chaco I can only hope that they come up with a few chic and professional designs in the future. |

Welcome, Maddy. You're yet another of the many people who have raved about Chaco comfort. I'm just waiting for them to make something a bit more refined style-wise, and I'll be all over it.
In the meantime, keep us posted on your shoe adventures. Also, I love your icon. I was a huge Madeline fan when I was a kid.

Not only are Chacos comfortable, they are incredibly easy to maintain. You can throw them in the washing machine or wash them in the sink. (I have even put mine in the dishwasher with no problems.) They are durable and well made, but when the webbing or footbed does wear out, you can send them in to get rewebbed or resoled for a minor fee. Add all that to the fact that the company is local to Colorado, and it means that I love them.
Living here, I can get away with wearing them because everyone else does, they are quite fashionable in some circles. Even though Crocs are local to Colorado (I have had classes with one of the creator's daughters), I don't maintain the same enthusiasm for them. |
