Default Hello everyone in shoe land

Hi everyone. I am new here, but as with everyone else here I love shoes. My love for shoes started 3 years ago when I started running a shoe store. Now I have over 200 pairs and growing. Many people would say you should slow down when you run out of closet space, but I say why not get a bigger closet. I look forward to looking at everyones pictures of shoes and who knows I may post some of my own pictures of my shoe collection.

Please do post pictures of your shoe collection! It must be fantastic, given that you're in the industry... I'm jealous

It would be great to be able to see your shoe collection. You are like the wife of one of the ex-presidents of a southeast asian country who has thoursands of shoe pairs.

I remember how seductive working in the shoe industry was. Discounts off wholesale prices. First pick of the styles that came in. Not to mention being in the position to buy shoes for the store yourself and control what styles you carry.

Hearty welcome.

I will post pictures soon of my shoe collection. When I first started in the shoe industry I did not know how addictive it could be. 3 years later now I see.

Here is just a quarter of my shoe collection. I got tired of pulling them out. They are in no certain order.

Baby Ice,
That would be Imelda Marcos of the Philippines with the amazing shoe closet that consist of over 1000 pairs of shoes! Being filipino myself, I don't think it's cool what she did to the country...but the woman had taste! I aspire to have a comparable closet one day!

I too work in the fashion footwear industry. I just recently started not too long ago, graduated this past May and started in June...I already have 30 pairs added to my already bustling closet and can't wait for all our Spring stock to arrive. So 30 new shoes added to about 30 old pairs of shoes! Just a guesstimate but I'm already apartment hunting for a place with a bigger closet...or perhaps extra room!!! The industry does have its advantages!!!!
