My shoe collection -- let's get march madness started!

I've been lurking on the site for a while without registering, and I actually promised myself I would never itemize my shoe collection. I don't really want to be aware of how many pairs of shoes I have. Trust the idea of a zappos gift certificate to lure me into the forums! To make myself feel better, I'm going to leave out shoes that don't count: the white flats I bought at Ross the day my "real" shoes pinched my feet too badly and I had to walk nearly a mile, the countless flipflops that I accumulate without meaning to, the running shoes, the clogs I wear as slippers, the shoes languishing in the back of my closet that I can't bear to part with, etc...

I don't think I ever realized how addicted I am to mary janes. Phew!
