Is everyone getting ready for fall? These are my most recent acquisitions from the Gucci outlet.

You have a Gucci outlet! Dang. If I drive 2 hours there's a Coach outlet. Hubby knows I'm planning for 18 months out when we are debt-free!.

Love the boots....I am one of those people who just thinks boots are always sexy.

Another gorgeous addition to your shoe collection, Lorih. What a dreamworthy closet you have. I'm so jealous (I say that in the nicest way possible)

I'm about 1 hour away from the nearest outlets. And the only luxury brand we have there is Burberry. I miss the days when I lived in LA. Desert Hills, in Cabazon/Palm Springs. They had a Gucci, Giorgio Armani , Juicy, Prada, Off Fifth, YSL, Zegna, and that is just to name a few!

These days, for outlet-like prices, I settle for the local Nordstroms Rack and occasionally DSW will have good finds. Neiman Marcus and Hermes are opening up a store in Bellevue this weekend. I'm hoping this helps retailers realize that there is a demographic for higher end outlets as well.

OK, I think I will have to stop or be on a ban for the rest of the year after I receive these shoes. I was unable to find them in the US so I'm having them shipped from a store in the UK. I could not help myself. Plus the heels are only 2" so I don't have to worry about killing myself in them. And I'm sure no one will mess with me when I'm wearing them either. They should be here mid next week! They're by Christian Louboutin. This is a stock photo as I don't have the real thing in hand yet.

Good luck on your ban

The 1st month is the hardest.

Those are rock-star boots.

Addicted. They aren't available anymore. I followed MLE to the website, Nearly bought a pair but had to think about it. By the time I decided yes, they had sold out. I have been sulking about it ever since.

The outlets are not all what they are cracked up to be. I just read a book that shows how the manufacturers/labels are producing substandard items just for the outlets. Outlets are out of the way, making it difficult to return. The author focused on Coach, but said others did the same.

I personally think that if you look at a shoe, and are satisfied with the design, the workmanship, and the price, then OK. I am a Nordstrom Rack and Neiman Last Call girl myself - probably because they are relatively close.

Those boots are beautiful.

Diaz... that is the story of my life. I usually sulk about something until I miss out on the next gorgeous shoe.... then pout about that. Never ending cycle. (laughing at myself)

Well I can't get enough of my studded boots ... here's pics of the actual boots, which I promptly took to the cobbler today to put red rubber soles on them. The bottoms of CLs are so slick, I don't dare take a step in them without resoling first.
