Ooo... I'm recalling my jealousy that nothing I liked in that sale was available in my size. Oh well.

The Sonia Rykiel's in particular are highly droolworthy.

Way to score!

I went to a couple stores yesterday looking for my first pair of Jimmy Choos and second pair of Christian Louboutins but I had no luck and they didn't have my size in any of the shoes I liked so, I came home and hit net-a-porter.com and ordered one pair. They should be here Monday or Tuesday and I can't wait!!!!!

Those shoes are beautiful! What was the occasion, or was it just a treat?

A treat but also a sort of deal with the husband. we wanted to get a pair of Christian Louboutin Super 868. He thought they were hot and well, I loved them and if he approved I wasn't going to say no! I had tried them on before but they didn't have my size. After a bit of sweet talking, he agreed to the purchase but we made a deal. I'd get the Louboutin and a pair of Choos and in return I wouldn't buy any more shoes or bug him about buying shoes until August. I thought considering the price of these shoes, it was a fair deal. So off we went. Christian Louboutin still didn't have the shoes in my size though and I couldn't find them online. So, I'm a pair of shoes short hehe

I *love* the fact that you got the excellent shoes, didn't get the shoes that he likes (meaning he'll probably break down and get them for you at some point once your size is in), AND can still buy shoes before August! I don't know how I could go until August without buying new shoes.

I second that, Nemtynakht! In fact, I just ordered the Maloles spring flats I wrote about a while ago on the blog, in turquoise and yellow...couldn't resist, they were down to $99, from $318! Oh, I hope they fit well!

On the other hand, Louboutin + Choos=probably worth waiting for. [green with envy]

Smile My latest: Maloles!

Ok, so I couldn't resist, and when these zesty ballerinas went almost 70% on sale, I made my move:
http://s7ondemand1.scene7.com/is/ima...?$main220x340$
I blogged about them a while back, and now that they were about $100 (down from $318) I just had to have them. (Well, add shipping and sales tax and it's closer to $115 or so, but still). They are much cuter and brighter than in the picture, I have to say. That lime green leather trim down the middle? It's almost neon-like, but not unpleasantly so. The bow is sparkly blue, and the checkered turquoise jacquard is also shimmery. They were comfortable out of the box (a BIG reason to love them even more) and also, a bonus, my orthotics fit very comfortably in them (no flapping,etc.). Overall, I couldn't be more tickled!

Well, Shoesense, we're now officially twins. I just snapped up the very last pair of those ballerinas Anthropologie had listed (only one left and in my size... must be a sign), since they were down to only $49 ($about $61 with shipping and tax)!

Shoeblog purchasing solidarity... that's what it's all about. I'll make sure to post my review once they arrive.
